First, welcome to M&M!!

Second, you should probably post this in another forum...probably the classics forum. That's not to say that it won't get answered here, but there are many more "gearheads" that surf that forum regularly that might not see it here. Unfortunately, I don't have a clue!

I've been wondering about this swap myself. Alex mentioned they were a direct swap. The same lengths, output splines, crossmember, etc.

Welcome to M&M!

update on swap: first, thanks for the welcome.
now for the swap,i called a "pro trans shop"
they told me flexplate, converter, mount and yoke need to be changed.could not tell me what donor cars to look for, would sell everything i need! the local ford racer says just the yoke from a c6 and a slight modification of the mount is needed. on another web site there was even more conflicting info! please, isnt there anyone that has done this swap or has for sure info? i want to gather the parts needed and do this swap over the winter (02-03). also,i do not have the room to install a c6. this is a 34 ford coupe,i cant/wont cut up the car anymore than necssary. thanks ford fans.

I did a C4 to FMX swap.. All I had to do was change the mount.. I just added a plate to my existing mount and used it..
