Wasn't someone here talking about using Granada slave cylinders on '65-'70 Mustangs? I seem to recall they're saying they have superior sealing at the line fittings?I'd appreciate any info, as I'll be rebuilding my system soon. ------------------

Here's what I was looking for: quote: Originally posted by 460-67Stang: Actually you may be better off using the '72 PS control valve if it's of the newer O-Ring connection design. I run a '78 Granada PS control valve because it uses the O-Ring style connections which are a vast improvement over the original, leak prone design. Don't know if the '72 control valve has the O-rings though.Of course you'll neeed ned PS lines with the O-ring type connections. Easy enough to have made....or use Granada lines as I did! FWIW, Brian

Yup Steve, that was me. Actually I was talking about the PS control valve, but I also used the Granada PS power cylinder as well. FWIW, I ended up using a Granada 6 cylinder pressure line. It fit perfect in my '67. I can get you the manufacturer/part number if you need it. Bought it at Advance Auto Parts. I also uses a Granada hose for the low pressure return line. I only have 500 miles on my car now, but no leaks at all and I expect it to stay that way due to the O-Ring conneciotns. Are the slave cylinders different than the Mustang's, also?I'd appreciate the numbers and/or application, if it's no trouble, thanks! ------------------

Ok, now you have my curosity going. What power steering parts from the Granada will interchange with the Mustang? I'm specifically interested in what can go into a 68 model.

So far, the slave cylinder, lines, and the control valve.I may just stick to the Mustang stuff, since my local parts place wants more for the Granada stuff than NPD wants for the Mustang stuff. ------------------
