I ordered a transmissin mount from Summit the other day. It was for a 79-present Mustang. The mount fits the Tremec fine but the crossmember side of the mount the bolts are too narrow. I don't have any problem with that it would be simple to just slot the holes in the crossmember. But upon measureing the tremec to see how much clearance I need for the trans hump I noticed the new motor mount is an inch taller then the 65 motor mount! I want to use the stock crosmember if I can and keep things as low profile as I can.

So my question is; does anyone make a early Mustang polyurathane mount?

Thanks for any help.
