I put in a B&M Megashifter and need to figure out the wiring for the backup and neutral switches. The wiring for the old shifter had a 4-wire block with 2 red/blue wires, one black/red and one white/purple. The red/blue wires have continuity in park and neutral so I'm guessing this is the neutral switch. The Black/red and white have continuity in reverse, which is another no brainer. My question is there are three other wires. One block has two wires that are purple/white and white (or light yellow) that have continuity in all positions except park. The other is a single larger black wire. Anyone know what these last three wires do??? The wiring diagram in both my books are the same and are useless. Thanks, Scott

No, the red/blue wires are for the neutral safety switch. I wired them in tonight and it works fine. The plug for the two wire set (purple/white and white) has a lot of crud on the connectors as if it never was connected to anything. Reverse and neutral safety both work as I have it wired now. Must have been extra wires for something else. Thanks, Scott

Scott, sorry about my mix up with the wires, I was thinking from memory not a diagram, I have a good diagram, I will take a look and see what those wires may have gone to.
