I have a 94 351W, thats going into my 68. Does anyone see any problem arising from putting 69 351W heads on it? Shouldn't they be a simple swap? I work at autozone and you can get 69 351W heads (D0OE casting) for $120 a piece. I asked my manager and he said that they were complete. So rush your local autozone if you want these!!!! I was thinking of having these ported and putting them on my 94 block. Any replies would be appreciated.

Do you have the early valvetrain hardware? It's different. Also, how do the combustion chambers compare? What will you end up with for compression ratio?

My mananger said they were complete, so the early valvetrain should be there. I'm going to ask another manager too though, because it seems a little cheap for them to come complete. I'm not sure about the chamber size though, that's part of the reason I asked here, I thought someone might know.

Complete heads don't come with rocker arms, fulcrums, and pushrods, usually. Those are different. The D0OE heads have ~62 cc chambers and 1.84"/1.54" valves. I don't have info on the '94 heads.

they are $120 a piece with a $50 core charge. I asked some other managers and they all said they came with everything except the rocker arms. Call your closest autozone and ask and they can probably tell you more than i can, i've only been there for a little over a month.
