What would the going price be for a Complete Shaker hood scoop setup be worth? I have seen one at a local bodyshop in the back room
When I asked what it went to he said he thought it went to a 70 Mach 1.

Don't know for sure, but I do know original equipment shakers are scarce and expensive. See what he wants for it...

From what I've seen, $1000-1500 is the going rate for nice and complete setups.

I hear you! I was excited to hear someone had found a shaker setup, but I'm less excited now that I know that it is just going to show up on ebay.

Hey Dan did you find someone to do your car? If not I found a place for you! It's right on rte 67 in seymour. This guy does 65 & 66 stangs all the time!

As for the E-Bay thing! I can't use it on a grabber hood! And my son don't want it for his 68 C-Special. But I might let it go to a M & M member that would be putting it on there own car? I will have to think about it.
Its in my truck right now! I have to bring it in and check it out and see if its any good?

Ok I have some part #'s C9ZF-9B624C on the rubber gasket and C9ZF-9B634 on the scoop it self! C9ZB-16738? on the chrome hood ring I'm not possitive on the last part of that number the 167 is easy to read the 38 is questionable!! The part that goes on top of the air cleaner does not have a part # on it that I can find? The opening is big! real big! 8-9"long and 5-6"wide like a large oval.It is black and looks like original paint! The bottom is not there! There was one with it but Its all hacked up to fit and it looks like it was a 2V bottom. So tell me what do I have????????

Jim,
actually YES i did find a guy to do my car, Ted Olenskie in Ansonia (10 minute drive for me), and he did the rear floorpans and rear torque boxes, along with fixing that small portion of my drivers side quarter for $1700.

He did great work and the price, well, is the price haha (seems pretty good though for what he had to deal with with my car haha)

The car is going to inspection Friday and HOPEFULLY will be registered Saturday

but heres to hoping

I know of an original shaker hood scoop complete setup off a 69 Mach I 428CJ or SCJ? It belongs to a buddy of mine. He wants $1100 for it. I held the thing in my hands. It's quite the piece. In beautiful condition. Has the rubber gasket and everything. Blue air cleaner with the original Motorcraft filter in it. I know it's spendy but if someone wants it I can go pick it up today and ship it to ya. Email me [email protected]
