Can anybody post a picture of the idler pulley setup on a small block w/ factory A/C from '70? It's getting to nearly 90* here in Phoenix already, another month it'll be 100. I need to set up my A/C, but don't know what the factory A/C idelr looks like. Is it the adjustable type, or non-adjustable type? Any help is appreciated.------------------ 1970 Deluxe SportsRoof (63B),(2)46 Ford trucks, 47 Ford truck, 57 Ford Fairlane 500 4dr, '72 Olds Vista Cruiser(for sale), '88 Bronco II(for sale)...running out of room, selling some of my projects [This message has been edited by 70SportsRoof (edited 03-22-2002).]

My 68 is apart minus engine but...the small block 68 is about same as 70. The idler is adjustable and unless am thinking of 65, there is a square hole the size of the drive on a 1/2" ratchet which allows the idler to be tightned ( I think). Make sure your pulley is not worn, spin it without belt and listen for a noise or how it feels. Ah, those summer days in Arizona!!!
