I posted this on the II forum, but I also want to ask the same question here. Will the rear brake drums off an 83 Ranger 2wd fit the rear of a II when you change to 5 bolt pattern???

Did you swap in the whole assembly or just the axles? I know that the wheel bolt pattern is the same as the earlier mustangs.

Did'nt swap anything. I'm having my axles redrilled for the 5 hole pattern. I heard that you can use Ranger drums and they will fit the II brake shoes without changing the shoe assembly.
