I am in the process (or at least soon to be) of putting a new exhaust system on my '73 Mach 1 and need the center-to-center dimension of the rear valance cutouts. I eventually want to put the correct exhaust tips on thru the valance, but due to my job situation I don't want to spend the money for a new valance, paint and the exhaust tips. So I will just have the muffler shop put turn downs on it just in front of the valance.
If anyone can give me this dimension and also how far out the tips extend past the valance (top side of tip to valance) it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks much!!!

On my 72 Mach, it is approximately 14 and three fourths inches from the body seam on each side of the valance to the center of the exhaust cutout. The cutouts are 35 inches on center from each other. My exhaust tips stick out 6 inches from the valance. Hope this helps. My valance is orginal, but the exhaust and tips have been replaced, but they look good and most others I have seen look pretty much the same.
