OK - I pulled the engine and am going to do some upgrades while I have it out... Plan goes as follows: new 3 row radiator - around 160 new elect. fan - around 160 also new high flow water pump --?? I have found edelbrock for abou 200... Are there any other brands anyone has used that they like that wont cost and arm?? I assume all high flow are aluminum... And I like the looks of it to match the alum. covers and intake....Thanks, BS

I think the Milodon one for my 351C was only $80 from Summit. SBFs are probably cheaper.------------------

Summit list the Milodon part# 16230 for $75.75 and here is the description from their site Better cooling from Milodon.
Small Ford: Pre 1970 260, 289, 302, 351W, high volume aluminum water pump This high volume aluminum water pump has a high efficiency impeller which provides 30% more coolant flow to prevent hot spots and air pockets in the block, and improve coolant flow in the radiator. Milodon water pumps are direct factory replacements with OEM hose connections and bosses. This pump has a large diameter shaft and heavy duty bearings for long life. You can search by the Summit Part# MIL-16230.

I have both a Milodon and a Weiand aluminum pump for my clevelands. I like the Weiand alot better. I think it was worth the extra money. Not sure if Weiand offers one for small Fords or not.

I have a Flowkooler pump on my car, it works very well, before the water just moved past the radiator cap opening, now it looks like a garden hose blowing past. It cost less than $100 including shipping.
