Ok, not type F, the easy answer, I'm talking manual transmission's here. What type of gear oil goes in a toploader? I remember seeing two or three different grades of gear oil at the store, but its been about 3 years since I changed the transmission fluid and I don't remember what i bought last time. It actually still looks clean, its just a little low from some leakage.

85-90 or 75-85 hypoid gear lube. You can use the heavier 85-140 stuff if you live in a warm climate. Any name brand will do. Valvoline, Castrol, etc.

Ryan,

I can answer that question, YES they do. We were using this product in some of the equipment in the plant I work in. If you would like to see their product list just go to www.royalpurple.com
