I wanted to confirm that the "smog" bumps in the corner of each exhaust port are solid and can be removed. This is my first set of Ford heads I've ported. Already finished the bowls and intakes, so I don't want any surprises. Thanks

I have an 89 mildly warmed HO 5.0 with ported E7 heads. The smog bumps have been completely removed.
