has anyone installed these on 65-66 using 302 motor ,also i have early 65 motormounts (ones with single verticle stud)can i switch to other style and gain ground clearence?also as i speak the motor is out of car and i upgraded to quick steer kit,can i expect clearence problems with long tube headers now?

6208 are 351W headers... they probably WILL hang awfully low if they fit at all. I've got the SuperComps for 289/302 that I run with stocker '65 motor mounts (on a 289 block) and the driver's side mount needed just a bit of grinding to clear the primary.Oh hey... welcome to M&M! Consider Hooker 6901-1 Comp headers. These are more conservative and the collector and tubes are smaller. This will provide better ground clearance. If you're looking for something cheaper, consider Tri-Ys.
