Today at lunch speedo/od stoped working. I havent looked at anything yet, most likely the cable, but any other ideas of where to look would be helpful... I know this is a lame question

Yeah, I'll give ya nine out of ten for lameness Start by checking the speedo cable is still attached to the back of the speedo. Mine has a habit of working its way loose.

Mine thinks it's a cobra too

If the cable locked up, it could have stripped the teeth off of the plastic drive gear at the trans end of the cable... penetrating lube works wonders to free up stuff like that. Only problem is, it might be a real mother to get to. The instrument cluster will likely have to come out... I'd for sure check the plastic drive gear, no matter what you find wrong elsewhere. It would suck to get it all back together, and have it STILL not work
