I was informed about this question and was pleasently surprised when I got a plug for my front valence. I found what appears to be a hand made valence with a Ford date stamp and have reproduced them. It is the one Ford built for their 007 fastback in 65. It uses the stock fog lights (can be modified for 65 or 68 lights) and the stock turn signal lights. It gives a "GT" appearance without the "fake" GT comments. It's very subtle and even works. I switch with yellow lights and it works in foggy situations. They are $199.95 + shipping. Charlie Hampton (past MCA Pres.) has one for his car. They can be done in black or white, depending on what color you are painting it. I'll see if I can get a digital pic if anyone would like one. Just let me know. [email protected]

Dave, Did you have a couple of these at the Pensacola show two years ago? I remember looking at one that had the stress marks like you said. I just wonder if that was you. Its strange how we go in circles, the valance that Charlie had is now on the front of my coupe. Mike

Sorry about sounding commercial. I'm still learning as I go and I'll tone things down a bit. But it was nice that this has been noticed after it's been out for 10 years! Go figure!
