I recently set up a roller conversion for my clevland engine.
Here is the problem, and I was wondering if anyone elese has ever heard of such a thing.
I am running a comp roller cam with crane rockers and milodon mega-flow valves. Push rod length is 7.850 which is fine on the exhaust but not on the intake. After taking a few mesurments I figure the push rod length for the intake side should be about 7.750 to corect the geometry.
No matter what I do I cannot correct the geometry with the 7.850 push rod on the intake and push rods are not sold in sets of 8

Pushrods are sold in sets of 8 (or individually) if you get good ones. For my cleveland, the pushrods are 8.5 on the intakes, and 8.65 on the exhuast. Very seldom do I ever have the same length on both intakes and exhaust anymore with any kind of "healthy" aftermarket cam.

You will have to get the proper length pushrod to solve the geometry.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking the machine shop may have cut the heads wrong.
