Larry,

I dunno why they bothered "saving" it from the crusher.

I'm missing something here I could lay my hands on ten Stangs in better condition than that and still have change from the money someone's already bid. Do you think sometimes these bids are fake ... you know, getting a friend to bid to drive the price up?

In one of the pics it looks like the crusher got a bite on it huh? The numbers would be worth the $600 it was at when I put this up, but since it's on e bay it'll probably get up around $30,000.00 ! It was a rare car, and now it's rare junk .

That's Iron Oxide with running ponies on it.
But yes the numbers are worth the current bid.

I dunno, the bid was at $785. when I looked, the 31 spline "N" case 9" & tilt steering column are probably worth close to that. Plus I have never seen a Mustang with the CJ wrap around shock towers that suffered from bad shock towers. It appears by the trans in the car that a small block had been in there towards the end.It has the "R" code VIN & door tags, however the ad states no title, so I don`t know that the tags have much value.

I missed the no title part Rory! Your right it would be useless to have the numbers without the paperwork to me, but I might give $800 for it at my front door for pieces if I needed or could use them. I'm kinda surprized some nut hasn't bid over $1000 already .

LOL! . Since I've bought a few too far gone to save, cars in my life I guess I shouldn't use the term "nut" too loosely huh?
