I've sent a mail to the Golden Horseshoe Mustang Association to get more info.
Kevin Marti just did some research and found out, there were probably only 8 made, some of them however with a 289 HiPo.
Pete, can you just name the MM issue, where the Heasley note was, then I can find it myself in the cellar. (11 years of 3 mags piled there and I always wanted to keep them in order, but pulling here and there kept its tribute).

Wolfgang: It was the "Rare Finds" column by Heasley in Mustangs and Fords. March, 2001. If you haven't got it, let me know.

Thanks, that one was still in my pile next to my bed .
Apparently Jerry Heasley was first in unearthing this one and Joseph Faultless is the owner of this same pictured Stallion.
At least they suspected that 100 or more have been built. Acc. to Kevin there were probably only 8 made.
Maybe I get more from the GHMA. Stay tuned - Ponygirl - stay in love....

One pic courtesy of Mustang and Fords, while you are waiting. Acc. to Kevin Marti (www.martiauto.com) 4 K-code and 4 S-code were made, no 427 - at least not from the factory.

Picture only for your personal view, Ponygirl - because of copyright reasons
