Need some help...
I want to replace my floor pans maybe this month seeings I get a month off of school and my car is in storage anyways... What I want to do is cut the floors out and the lower frame peice that is spot welded to the rails and floor pan... Now sooner or later I need a new drivers side frame rail, would it be dumb for me to replace these other parts for now? or can I simply just drill out the new plug welds and slip the new front rail in when it becomes times?

I think you will find that it is better to it all at one time. Its no fun drilling and cutting out rails and floor pans. You will see what I mean when you get started. You only want to do it once. I'm currently doing this to the rust bucket conv I bought in May.

I think most of us here have the joy HaHa of having to do floors in our Stangs. I have to do l/s & r/s full floors on my wifes 65 Fastback & the l/s full floor on my 69 Coupe. I like a real chalange. Yea right!
