I want to replace my floor pans maybe this month seeings I get a month off of school and my car is in storage anyways... What I want to do is cut the floors out and the lower frame peice that is spot welded to the rails and floor pan... Now sooner or later I need a new drivers side frame rail, would it be dumb for me to replace these other parts for now? or can I simply just drill out the new plug welds and slip the new front rail in when it becomes times? Its no fun drilling and cutting out rails and floor pans. You will see what I mean when you get started. You only want to do it once. I have to do l/s & r/s full floors on my wifes 65 Fastback & the l/s full floor on my 69 Coupe. I like a real chalange.
