Fellas, I have the How To Restore Your Interior Book from NPD.

It is unclear. It speaks of "wires" in the listing on the back seat. There were none in the one I removed. Should I put them in the new covers? Where do I put them?

Also, do the hog rings go in the doubled seam or through the cover on the back? THe doubled seam makes more sense, but again the book isn't clear.

Thanks...

Look in the 'piping.' That's the rolled vinyl at the edges. It's there to help the seat covers maintain their shape.

I'm trying to visualize, but the hogrings go into the doubled-back canvas at the edges.

Thanks Steve, I figured it out and did the back rest for the back seat last night. It looks good.
