 | posted 11-01-2001 03:15 AM I have a guy hounding me to sell him my 70 Boss 302 OE Holley (D0ZF-9510-Z, list 4653). I don`t really care if I sell it or not, but if I do let it go, I would like to know what is a fair price? It is complete, although the small transfer tube connecting the F&R float bowls is not OE, but it does have the electric fast idle solenoid on it. It has been sitting for a long time, & will require a rebuild, but it doesn`t appear to be tampered with.Any ideas?

 | posted 11-01-2001 08:50 AM $400 would be a fair price. That's about what a rebuildable Boss carb goes for on Ebay and about what Pony Carbs charges.

 | posted 11-02-2001 10:25 PM Randy is being generous, I'd start a $500, just to see how bad he wanted it. You have a rare item there for the concours restorer. I think the 4653 service replacement at Holley is around $450, minus the solenoid
