A friend of mine wants to swap his 4-spd manual trans out of a 302 67 Mustang for my FMX trans out of a 302 72 Mustang. Will these transmissions interchange directly? Do we need to swap tranny mounts also? I am not going to use my engine and the 4-speed in the 72 Mustang. It will go in a 67 Fastback. Sounds like a good deal don't you think! Thanks.

Sorry we missed this one, bluetech.

This should be a fairly straightforward swap except for the driveshaft, which will need a little fitting.

No problem Steve! Anyway, we've decided to do the swap after the holidays. I think I'll have to cut-to-fit a driveshaft from a '72. Thanks and Merry Xmas!
