Quick question. I am changing from a 6 cyl to a 289. I have the engine mounts for both the frame and the block. My question regards the block mounts with the 7" spread holes. There are 2 holes that bolt to the block and a rectangular part. One hole is closer to the rectangular base and the other is farther away. Which bolt hole goes to the front of the engine? My boxes from NPD do not indentify the engine mount as right or left.... Thanks...

Thanks. I actually noticed that they are the same. Does it matter which way they go as long as they are the same on both sides? Should the shorter side go to the front or back?
