On my newly acquired 69 Coupe it is missing the door data plate from the drivers door, but I found the body buck tag. Maybe someone can decipher it for me. It reads like this, 249 7 25L 65A VYN2 2A 9T01F142108 W YELLOW PS PT Any help is greatly appriciated, Mike.------------------ Mike & Robin 65 Mustang Fastback 69 Mustang Coupe 87 LTD CV 96 Ranger Extd Cab PU 99 Explorer Sport M&M #- 890 MCA #- 04549

Looked in everything I have and no PT. The logical guess is power top but you have a coupe. The book that I have list codes for tags, but in looking at what they have for 68, it is by no means, complete.

PT is probably for prepped top (moldings for vynil) acc. to Kevin Marti on the other forum, that everybody goes to.... And I apparently made a mistake on the first 2 numbers as for the meaning.... I stay corrected by a MCA Gold Card Judge, that is not a shame, is it?
