My friend bought a hood scoop from another M&M member.He has painted it now and we want install it.What is the stock distance from the back edge of the hood to the back edge of the scoop? He want to make sure it looks right ,any info would be great.

Mine is 1/2" between the back of the scoop and the rear edge of the hood.

The scoop is going on his 70 mustang convert.The scoop he bought has turn signals and the front bar grill.

My 69 MachI has the scoop mounted 1 7/8" from the rear edge of the hood.Is this incorrect?

Scoop on my 69 mach1 is mounted about 1/2" off the back of the hood, looks just like Steve's picture.
