on the lucas fog lights for 68-70 shelbys and the 68 specials, i have seen two diffrent style covers, one has lucas in small letters and a lion on it and the other has lucas quartz and halogen on it. which style is for which year ? everyone i have asked has a diffrent answer.or does it really matter? also would it affect on MCA judging? thanks for any info you can give me

Fly, I'll try to find the MCA judging sheet and see if it is noted anywhere. Might take awhile, that is if I can remember where they are.

I can't remember ever seem a Calif. Special or Shelby in a show with covers on..have you?

The only thing the MCA Judging sheet for 67-68 Shelbys say "Driving Lights: 68 only, Mounted in original manner, Matching bulbs. Marchel or Lucas with clear lens." Absolutely nothing about the covers, sorry. I have a friend in California, to which I consider an authority on Shelbys might be able to answer this, his name is Jeff Speegle. You can get his E-mail from the MCA web site, he is a Shelby Gold card judge.
