Topic: question for any MCA judges,or any 68-70 shelby owners

on the lucas fog lights for 68-70 shelbys and the 68 specials, i have seen two diffrent style covers, one has lucas in small letters and a lion on it and the other has lucas quartz and halogen on it. which style is for which year ? everyone i have asked has a diffrent answer.or does it really matter? also would it affect on MCA judging? thanks for any info you can give me------------------

Fly, I'll try to find the MCA judging sheet and see if it is noted anywhere. Might take awhile, that is if I can remember where they are.Mike

I can't remember ever seem a Calif. Special or Shelby in a show with covers on..have you?

The only thing the MCA Judging sheet for 67-68 Shelbys say "Driving Lights: 68 only, Mounted in original manner, Matching bulbs. Marchel or Lucas with clear lens." Absolutely nothing about the covers, sorry. I have a friend in California, to which I consider an authority on Shelbys might be able to answer this, his name is Jeff Speegle. You can get his E-mail from the MCA web site, he is a Shelby Gold card judge.Mike
