Tony Branda has a page on the stripes in the back of his catalog. This page has a description of them and also diagrams with the dimensions. In it he says the 66's that where white got Guardsman Blue stripes, and all other non-Hertz cars got Wimbleton White stripes. He continues saying that because there were very few cars after 66 which recieved LeMans stripes, no standard colors were actually specified by the factory. Actual colors were probably left up to the dealer or owner and it's safe to say that the LeMans strip probably matched the rocker panel stripe of the car.

If you don't have a Branda catalog handy, I could photocopy the page and send it to you, drop me an email with snail mail address.
