It has been far to long since I have been on the M&M site. All the new members, new features, etc.! I am ashamed of myself! Glad to be back.I have acquired a beautiful chrome plated extinguisher and was wondering where the best place to mount it in my '68 Coupe would be. Any and all suggestions welcome. I thought the trunk, but that didn't seem to logical due to the fact that it takes time to open the trunk.

Welcome Back!!Mount it laying down to the left of your seat, so you can grab it as you're bailing out. SteveW

Dang Jeremy, the new wife really has you trained already, welcome back. I don't remember if you have a console or not, but I've seen alot of them mounted on the driveshaft tunnel, close within reach. Mike

Mine just sits on the floor behind the passenger seat. You could do like those Civics and mount it on the front pillar so everyone else in other cars can see it and know that you are cool. ------------------ 67 Fastback - Arctic White Pearl paint 351W ,Trick Flow Aluminum Heads, Edelbrock TorkerII, Carter 750 CFM, Comp. True Steve, and add in the required sunvisor, stickers, and wing and you are talking about many $$ and a loss in streetability with such a race-car.

The mood of this thread is exactly why I love this place. You've got information, friendly hello's, some humor, could it possibly get any better?
