Well, I am re-installing my dash and related parts and have ran across an interesting wire. It goes to the small brake light on the dash next to the ignition switch. One end has a blade connector that goes to the emergency brake where it makes a ground when depressed, the other end has a bullit end that plugs into this three prong green wire. This goes to a regular terminal lug. I cannot find out where this lug goes, it obviously goes to a power source but where? Any help would be appreciated.

Clark,

I should read the post better before replying! I will look at my 69 tomorrow and see if I can locate this for you.

Thanks Guys,
I feel better now that you have looked as well Steve. I have the wiring and vacuum diagrams but I could not find it either. I hope Ronnie or someone else can look at their cars and let me know.

Ronnie, don't hurt your back or neck trying to find this cause I know it's not easy trying to see this.

Clark,

I went out and looked at my car, figures I would pick up the wire at the emergency brake switch and trace it back. I do not have a wire hooked to the emergency brake switch, apparently this wiring was removed by the prior owner. I could not see the wires on back of the dash at the light. You said the light on yours is by the ignition switch, mine is in the dash by the gauges.

Thanks Ronnie,
I will just find me a good power source and make it work, I know this was not installed in all 69's but I think it would be neat if it worked. The light is no bigger than a dime and has a hole cut in the dash for this so I know it was not an add on, this sounds like a case for the X-files.
