Will all the componets of a '69 power steering bolt right up to a 390 ('68) mustang?

Thanks,
Jim

I think it will but you might need to use all of it! Right down to the tie rod ends? I used everything from a 73?grande on my 68. I forget now that was 20 years ago!!

Not likely. The '71-'73 have the GOOD system, it won't fit the earlier Mustangs. {Too bad, that!} You must have used parts from a '69-'70.

Your probably right Steve. But I would swear it was a 73. It was grabber orange with high back orange bucket seats! That also went in my 68. I know I used the center link and the brain, tie rods. I remember the tie rod ends being larger diameter! Not sure about the Idler arm? It was so long ago!

The last year for the slave cylinder power steering was '70.

In '71 Mustangs changed to the Saganaw recirculating-ball type power steering system. None of that hardware bolts up to a '70 or older Mustang.
