Steve, you beat me to it. Jack, I called them about 5-6 months ago before I changed my springs. I have the quote written down somewhere if I can find it and also what they recommended. They are nice people and helpful.

I just installed my Fiberglass springs, They fit perfect. Don't know how well they are going to work yet, No Motor or front end, Etc. The site is http://www.members.carol.net/spring/ I talked to Robert I think. It was $435 total after including shipping. He was very knowledgeable on what I needed. Or call 864-261-7006. I was a little disappointed in their appearance, but I powder coated the ends "Almost Chrome" and painted the springs black with clear coat. Then they looked good. They came with Poly Bushings included except for the Frame side of the shackles.------------------ Have a Wonderful Day CandyApple 65 Fastback Versaille 9" Rear End [email protected]

$435? I thought the springs were $200 per set. What's included for $435?

They're $200 each. I have heard, from others, that fibergalss leaf springs can get damaged easilt from rocks. It sounds like they wouldn't be good on a daily driver...... ------------------ 1965 Coupe, Tremec 3550, Steeda Tri-Ax, Cable Clutch conversion, 3.25 gears, Ford XB3 longblock, x303 heads, B-Cam, 9:1 comp., Ford Racing high-torque starter, Pertronix Ignitor & Flamethrower coil, Accel 8.8mm wires, 600 cfm Edelbrock carb, Edelbrock RPM intake, K&N air, Holley electric fuel pump & AFPR, dual 2-chamber Flowmasters, KYB shocks, 5-leaf springs, Chrome Export Brace, Griffen Radiator, Comp. They are $200 each and they DO NOT get damaged from rocks or stones. They work great on street cars. Corvettes have had fiber glass leaf springs since 1963. I have had the same set on MM since 1997 with over 500 passes on them and who knows how many "pit" miles. They are like new. Flex-i-Form is a great outfit. Ask for Robert and tell him that Alex reffered you. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00 & '01 Fleet of FoMoCo products Moneymaker Bio US Class Nationals link

It's all good, I was just repeating something I heard from another spring manufacturer. Maybe I'll save up for some myself. ------------------ 1965 Coupe, Tremec 3550, Steeda Tri-Ax, Cable Clutch conversion, 3.25 gears, Ford XB3 longblock, x303 heads, B-Cam, 9:1 comp., Ford Racing high-torque starter, Pertronix Ignitor & Flamethrower coil, Accel 8.8mm wires, 600 cfm Edelbrock carb, Edelbrock RPM intake, K&N air, Holley electric fuel pump & AFPR, dual 2-chamber Flowmasters, KYB shocks, 5-leaf springs, Chrome Export Brace, Griffen Radiator, Comp.
