How do you tell the difference between 351m's, 351w's, and 351c's??------------------ Joe Fields 68 Fastback 289ci bored .030 over C-4 "Never play leapfrog with a unicorn."

Flojoe, An easy way to tell the difference between a 351C and a 351M/400, is to measure the distance between the top two bolts in the bellhousing. A cleveland will measure 5 1/8" or so (same as a 289 (6 bolt), 302 or 351 W), whereas a 351M or 400 will measure about 7" (same as a 429/460). Good luck, Tom
