Anyone know of a good place(best price?) to get a master rebuild kit for a 9" rear and what information do I need when selecting the kit ? I am installing a spool and 4.44 gears in an open differential..Thanks

I rebuilt mine with a kit from Randy's Ring & Pinion. I know they have a website but I don't have it handy, but these guys know there stuff and the prices are not bad either.------------------

I got the complete kit for my F-150 from NAPA two years ago for about 90 bucks. It included all pinion/gear bearings/races, shims, crush sleeve, gaskets/seals, the marking die(whatever its called), etc. It didn't include anything internal to the differential itself.

Thanks, friends, I'll check with NAPA locally and if they don't treat me right I'll call Randy's..
I'm dyin to see what a 4.44 gear will do on my '66 6500rpm 4spd 289 Stang..

Try www.ringandpinion.com they are in Litia Springs Ga. about 15 miles west of Atlanta, they'll fix you up.
