Does anyone know if the '65-'66 "under-the-dash brake light switch will work on the 64 1/2 car? My car has the single bowl master cylinder with the hydraulic switch screwed into it. I want to put a 67 dual M/C on. I thought I could run the two wires back thru the firewall, and connect to the later switch.

Did Ford change the auto transmission brake pedal bracket to accommodate the newer switch? Thanks.

I think the pedal assy is the same but the master pushrod is thinner and has a flat area at the back to trigger the switch on the later cars. Again "I think" that's how they did it.
