V8 guys, where is your temp sender unit?
my original location was on the thermostat housing, but it only reads after the stat has opened up...

On a 302, you can also put it in the threaded hole on the front water jacket on the intake manifold, on the driver's side.

I was hoping it wasn't recommended to put it there...
still trying to find out why my car is running 215-225*F...
How much movement should the vacuum advance have? the little lever on mine will move about 3/8 of an inch.
