Topic: Help hooking up a electric fuel pump.

Well up in Reno I was getting some vapor lock. Alex suggested hooking up a electric 5 PSI pump at tank with a toggle switch. He said to turn it on only when I needed it. My question is, should I also wire in a Pump Safety Switch with my oil sender. I don't think I need it since I will be turning it on/off myself in the car. But I just want to make sure...
