Which one? The Mustangs or the others? The Chrysler "Hemi under glass" is typically each year at the Goodwood meeting, I think it is in the Chrysler museum in the US otherwise. The Lawman 429 is in the hands of one of your famous ringers or wrestlers (P. Gold or so, need to check that again) in his collection. The Collins tried to buy it back, last time I heard of it.

That's correct, Wolfgang, I was thinking of the Mustangs; and the LAWMAN 429 is my favorite one out of them. Seems like once these types of cars get to "that level", many get simply passed around between smaller museums or private collections where they are parked with very limited "viewing access". I think it would be cool as he!! to be given the opportunity to take a car like the LAWMAN 429 out onto the show circuit road....to go around the country talking with folks that saw the car overseas and to hear their stories & what it meant to them. It almost seems like a crime against society to keep such cars squirreled away, nearly hidden from the public...these cars should be at Big Daddy's, 'Museum of Drag Racing' in Florida or 'The Henry Ford Museum' in Michigan. I think that one is in Floyd Garrets museum in Pigeon Forge Tn. It is owned by the wrestler Goldberg. There was a thing on TV about his car collection recently. Said he has never even seen it. On the show he had some neat cars, he drove off in a Hemi Cuda convertible. ------------------ Stuart MCA #48902 M&M #1091 67 stang 5 speed, 351W, Edelbrock Performer RPM package my photo page

Yes, Bill Goldberg and History Channel made the report. I'm over 40, so my memory slips more often.History Channel had used some documentation from the Collins for the report, who owned it before Bill and would like to buy it back. They still have all the documentation. Maybe they have recognized it should be rather shown around. If you missed the "crash pics" have a look here at www.ponysite.de/lawman4.htm
