I just bought a rusted out 64 1/2 coupe, VIN #5F07D149341 with a Rally Pac. I was wondering how common the Rally Pac was in the 64 1/2?

Extremely uncommon. I have a book that may give the actual numbers, I'll check and let you know. Interestingly, I had a 64 1/2 Poppy Red fastback I sold in Corpus Christi back in 1976. It had a RallyPac although the clock didn't work. ------------------ 1971 M-Code Convertible, 351 4v, Hurst 4-spd, Posi-Traction, Ram Air Hood, Disk Brakes, 275x60 GT Qualifiers, Gauge Package [This message has been edited by moncrief (edited 06-23-2001).]

Thanks for the reply. Everythings pretty much still on the car. It was originally wimbledon white with standard red int.. It does have the factory console and c4 trans with the original 4bbl. It's been parked since 82 and you can still turn the motor over with the fan. It will be a long drawn out project since this is my first frame up restoration. I'm going to have to replace most of the outer skin except for the roof. Luckily the meat of the car is pretty good shape.

take the rally pac, have it lovingly restored, wrap it in something to protect it, then when you get ready put it in. an original rally pac is realy cool.

Rally Pac's are now very rare and can cost around $500. What a price increase from $69 back in 1965. If you want some info on restoring it check out my webpage at http://quartzkit.hypermart.net

I have an orginal Pac on my 65,it is awesome. The clock wasn,t working and I sent it out to get it converted to quartz. The people out there did a great job, definitely one of the better things I have done to car.

Thanks everyone for the imput. I don't think I did too bad for $100.00 investment. It just taught me to check on something you see and want. There's still bargains out there if you'll look around and get off the beaten path every once and a while.
