I am rebuilding a 72 351C and I noticed that the little round hole above the exhaust gas port on the intake side of the head is not covered by the Edelbrock manifold or the Fel Pro valley pan gasket. Does anyone know what this hole is for?

That's just a register hole used to locate the head for machining at the factory.
