Can anybody find out what these two parts go to? The first one is a crank pulley C7AE-6312-A; Im looking for a non-AC pulley for my fastback. The other is a fan clutch C4AZ-8A616-A; will it work on my fastback with the HD cooling?------------------ 68 S-code FB GT 4spd/3.25 PS PDB 68 J-code Cp Sprint"B" C4/3.00 PDB PS AC 99 F150 XLT Ext/cab, 4X4, 5.4L, 3.55LS

Your fan clutch C4AZ-A is listed as "10/23/63 to 7/1/64 289 with hang-on air conditioning." They list dimensions as 3.625" deep, 2.31" in diameter.Your S code 390 calls for part number C8OZ-A, {ID number C8OE-A or D} according to my Herd and Hollander manuals. It doesn't list dimensions for that fan clutch. The manuals I have don't list pullies. ------------------ '72 Mustang Sprint Coupe 351C 4V/FMX/4.30 Trac Loc '94 F-150 XL 5.8L/E4OD/3.55 Limited Slip '97 Probe GTS 2.5L DOHC {Wife's car...} All Fords since 1977

The one I actually have is marked C8OE-B, part number C8OZ-8A616-B but it came out of a 69 Cougar with air. It fits perfect in the car but it unfortunately it has some wobble to it. I was hoping that this one could have been used as a replacement. Thanks, Ed

Ford shows a C8AZ-6A312-D pulley (casting # C8AE-6312-D) for the "4-speed, without a/c" application. Southside Obsolete shows that they have one in stock, 1-800-866-1310. The clutch indeed should be a C8OZ-8A616-A (Ford book only shows C8OE-8A616-A as the casting #, no "-D"), this clutch was SPECIFIC to '68 390GT application (for whatever reason). The wobbly C8OZ-B clutch you are using fits MANY applications (including 428, which is why it fits up to your 390 with no problem) and is much more common. Southside also shows that they have the correct C8OZ-A clutch in stock. Another source that popped up for that part number is Haven Ford Sales 1-800-748-7803. Putting the correct casting # parts back on your car is always a good investment for the value and integrity of your car, if that's any comfort when you get the price quotes on these obsolete pieces!

A book that I have shows the C8OE-A clutch for 68 GT with thermactor, 68-428cj with out AC and 69 GT with factory AC. C8OE-B or C for the 69 GT with standard cooling. I actually think its the A clutch I need as the replacement clutch that many vendors sell are to long and supposed to fit a 289, 302, 390 and 428. Ill have to dig it out. Right now Im actually using a fan out of a Granada until I can find a reasonably priced clutch that will work.

I wanted to see if C3OZ-8A616-B (66-70 Falcon 170-200) would work but all of the parts stores in my area say that there is only 2 different clutches available for the 60s Fords. I guess Ill have to find one of those real man auto parts stores that you guys often talk about.
