On a recent thread, you mentioned a high performance Ford starter. Were do I get one?
I'm gona need one for my Mach 1 (M code.)
Any special part#, or power (Amp) requirements? etc.

Hi,
I have a permanent MAgnet gear reduction starter from Western Alternator. A pantera guy turned me on to them.
Best $115 I have spent. Cranks the motor at about 400 rpm it seems....Tiny too.

National Parts Depot sells them as 'super torque' starters.

Automatic trans #11002-4B $104.95
Manual trans #11002-5B $104.95

They bolt right in.
