1st welcome to M&M
I belive we talked about this a few months ago..
Guys correct me if I'm wrong but didn't we find a "church Key" worked best making sure the metal that touched the trim was covered with tape....

As for replacing it..suggestions

That?s it!! The old bottle opener trick! If you don?t plane on reusing the moldings don?t worry about the tape. To put them back on, if you can?t pop them back on by hand use a wood or rubber block and a hammer to get them on.
