I am going to take my original front seats out of my Boss and put them in storage. I am going to replace them with some performance seats. I am currently leaning toward the Corbeau Carreras in black. Anybody want to offer alternatives or tell me to stay away from corbeau.

Don't worry the originals will be wrapped in plastic and stored inside my house.

Randy,
I can't tell you anything bad or good about the Corbeau seats other than I looked at them and got their brochure. In the end I went with the Pro Scat Elites sold by Mustang Plus. The seat is a little wider bottom for the mature figure and the side bolsters aren't as high as their racing seat. Overall comfort and stability is great. Besides that they come with the floor mounting brackets made specifically for the Mustang already included in the price. I've got them in my 65 coupe and my wife made me put a set in her 66 convertible.

Mike

Kcode, the web site is confusing. It says sold in pairs only, but doesn't say if the $699 is for a pair or each? Is shipping included?

I have the Scat ProCar seats. They fit perfectly and look like they belong rather than just an afterthought. The Corbeau Seats look a little wider though I don't have first hand experience.

Heh Randy, my opinion is only worth 2 cents max, but I followed the link to those Corbeau seats, and they get a big ZERO from me for looks. In a spaceship maybe, but not in a classic 'stang. Actually, they look like the kind of thing companies making computer peripherals sell. Naaah - bad move

I have the Scat procars also, great seat! All
of the aftermarket seats tend to sit a little higher then the stock seats, I'm cutting down
my seat pans to get back the inch i lost with
the procars.

Well, I went ahead and ordered the Corbeaus. Should have them next week. Now if I can just get my car out of the body shop in the next month.
