71RESTO Gearhead Posts: 888 From: Oregon, USA Registered: Oct 2000	posted 04-22-2001 05:12 PM I recently had the water pump replaced on my '73 Mach, and the performance shop that did it gave me my old pump back saying that it was the original pump and could easily be rebuilt. Thinking I may rebuild it to sell to someone doing a concours restoration, I want to make sure the pump is indeed original before wasting my time (and money). Anyhow, there is a number "30816" stamped on it with a "A16" stamped under that, but no Ford markings of any kind. Is this actually an original pump or a rebuilt replacement.
