I was wondering about the size of these motors, underhood that is, fit if you will. Wanna see how much space they take up, and whichever is smaller, is the winner it's gonna be a tight fit anyway, but I'm still thinking about the tempo conversion, and I figured this would be the best place to post on this thought thanks

They are the same size externally. No help huh, still your choice.

According to the FRPP catalog, the small block Ford motor is 27 1/2" long from flywheel to water pump pulley, 20 3/4" high from oil pan to the top of the valve covers and 18 3/4" wide.

Acctually, it's a great help The bigger the better(and from what I hear, the 302 is cheaper to build )
