The clutch pedal spring is finally in, anyone who needs to do this can try what I did,
I used a floor jack to stretch the spring open so I could insert 6 screws (5/16 x 1) into the coils, after the spring is in, use a ratchet and socket to remove the screws, still a pain but it worked pretty good.
