just been in sams room,,,got sent here....does anyone know how to remove the strange washer/keeper/retainer things from the origional roof ram pins (69 conv) so I can get them out? the pins have half round heads,,,and nothing to get a grip on......assistance would be muchly appreciated....drive safe,,Larry69(MM)

thanks steve.....I'll leave the request here for a few days,,someone will jump in,,,by the way the U.S. fleet is here in melb,,took the pony to the dock,,you shouda' seen the swashbucklers on the ships drooling over a bit of metal from home.....drive safe...Larry69(mm)

Dave.....the pins are located at the top of the roof rams on convertables, they connect the ram to the roof structure, providing the fulcrum. They are not actually a part of the hydro' ram, but more of the actual roof framework, anyway!!! I cant' get them out in order to remove and replace my rams, because of a type of keeper/retainer thing on the end of em'.oh well the pony's stabled now,,,winters here.....drive safe...Larry69(mm)

Nobody has a answer for Larry? I feel really bad for him. Larry, could you take a pic of the retainer you want to remove?
