is it feasible to fit a pop-up style gas cap on a '67 coupe? i've noticed that it's done on '65-66 and '69-70 bcz of the flat taillight panel. but with the concave design of the '67-68 (NON SHELBY OR CA.SPECIAL), i'm curious if it'll work. thanks...jeff

'67s with the GT or Decor packages had pop-open caps.

What exactly do you mean by a pop up cap? Do you mean pop open?

OK, OK, YOU GOT ME!! i meant POP-OPEN. at least you guys figured out what i needed to know. i was looking at the ones from NPD and it says that there's a second twist-on cap behind the pop-open portion. is that a new safety feature or was that stock? i'm assuming that the pop-open cap just bolts into the same mounts as the twist-on? thanks everyone....jeff

I know that the 67-68 has the concave taillight panel and I think the 69 also. I think the 70 has a flat panel as well as 71-73 and 65-66. I don?t know if the flat ones will fit on the 65-56 though. 67-68s did have them as options with the stock taillight panel(GT and standard).
