I looked back in the archives for this one and I think I got more confused than before. I am gathering parts for my 393 stroker and am down to the crank & balancer. I have the stock one and it is in good condition, but am wondering if I should upgrade to a fluid or something similar? Also what weight 28 or 50 oz.? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Clark,

The stock one should work fine for the engine you're building. You're going to keep the rpm's under 6500 right? It's a 28 oz balancer BTW.

Thanks for the input Steve and yes it will be staying under 6500. That will sure save me some money.
