I'm in the market for a new flywheel.
About 4 years ago I bought a C3AZ-6375-J from the Ford dealership for my dad's 66 for under $200. I saw in the latest NPD catalog that the 157 tooth flywheel is about $320, but it also says its billet steel. What does billet steel mean for a street only car, meaning, should I go for the Ford part or the billet steel part.

Sig, a billet steel flywheel is just that. It is machined from billet steel stock which is very strong and virtually industructable. Normal flywheels are cast iron and only the clutch surface is machined. They are not for HD or high RPM use.
